Window Quote Zone (“we”, “us”) is an online information and comparison service that helps homeowners understand window quotes and be matched with vetted local installers. We are the data controller for the information you submit through the enquiry form on this website.
What we collect
When you complete our quote form we collect:
- Your contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number and postcode.
- Your enquiry details: whether you own your home, so an installer knows whether they can proceed.
- Marketing attribution data: information about how you reached this site, including campaign source, UTM values and advertising click identifiers (for example Google or Meta click ids), the page you first landed on, your browser user-agent and your IP address.
How we use your data
We use your details to match you with one accredited installer suited to your location and to pass your enquiry to them so they can prepare your free, no-obligation quote. The marketing attribution data helps us understand which campaigns bring genuine enquiries and to keep our advertising relevant.
How we will contact you
By submitting the form you agree that we, or the matched installer acting on our behalf, may contact you by phone, directly in relation to the application you made — that is, about your window quote request. We will not use your details for unrelated marketing. There is no separate consent checkbox because contact about your own enquiry is the basis on which the form is provided; the notice beside the submit button makes this clear.
Lawful basis
We process your contact details to take steps at your request and pursue our legitimate interest in responding to the quote enquiry you have made. Marketing attribution data is processed under our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our advertising.
Who we share it with
Qualified enquiries are passed to a matched, vetted installer so they can provide your quote. We may also use trusted service providers who help us operate the website and process enquiries on our instructions. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from your submission, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless we are required to keep it longer to meet a legal obligation. Marketing attribution cookies expire after 90 days (see our cookie policy).
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
